Collection of materials on Hebron, Utah, including the Hebron Ward record, 1872-1897, newspaper articles, map of Hebron, family histories, chapters excerpted from larger works, etc. The bulk of the collection, the Hebron Ward record, is a handwritten record (1872-1897) of the Mormon frontier town of Hebron, established in southern Utah in 1868 and abandoned not long after an earthquake on November 17, 1902 damaged most of the houses. Includes minutes and financial reports from various town, church, and community meetings, as well as remarks regarding the town's population, economic situation, water problems, etc.
